Where we are today
With online shopping now dominating most markets, Glebe decided to get ahead of the curve and built a large Amazon retail businsess alongside its local customers. Taking it a step further, glebehealthcare.co.uk was then built into what it is today: an online ordering portal for healthcare & mobility equipment covering the whole of the UK with both deliveries and engineer services.

The problem we aim to tackle
After several years of competing on a national level, it has become clear that there are many companies leaving customers with complex needs high-and dry, either by charging extortionate amounts for basic equipment, or by selling too cheap not resolving any issues that might arise after the sale (hiding behind the legal 14-day return policy) - We call this 'treating mobility equipment as a product' like a phone case, rather than a complex machine that you cannot simply 'send back' easily if anything goes wrong.

Our mission
It is therefore Glebe's mission to bridge the gap between the expensive high street mobility shop, and the low-priced online retailer. We aim to combine the two, for the most reasonable prices, offering customers brilliant value for money, but at a price that still allows us to support them in the same personal and expert manner that you would expect from a local supplier.
